More than half of our staff has worked in the Baton Rouge area for 10 plus years and most have worked together at least five years. So at OTB Salon and Spa we offer a friendly and comfortable team of highly trained technicians who range from 10, 20, and 30 year veterans to the Salon and Spa industry.
Crystal Welch

Crystal is our Licensed Esthetician and has been for 11 years. She started in the industry 13 years ago as a makeup artist. She attended the Neill Institute (currently Aveda Institute) in Covington, Louisiana and is well trained in the Aveda products and standard. She has attended many advance studies and keeps up with the latest skin care. She studied Microdermarasionin in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Advance Spa therapy in Hammond, Louisiana, and travels to man different premier shows for the latest in skin care knowledge.
Crystal is trained and Specializes in skin treatments using Image Skin Care products Image Skin Care is a medical strength skin health system developed to improve skin conditions such as photo damage, hyper pigmentation, acne, rosacea, and all levels of aging skin. These products allow estheticians the ability to offer professional treatment and products that yield truly professional results.
Crystal is also a Certified Interdermal cosmetic Technician, trained at the most credited school for Permanent Cosmetics in Arlington, Texas. She offers Eyebrows, Eyeliner, Lip Liner, and Full Lip Color. The pigments she uses are iron-oxide free and MRI safe. Free consults are offered and recommended to answer any question you may have.
Crystal's services consist of facials, waxing, makeup, Microdermabrasion, Chemical peels, Photo Rejuvenatin (IPL), Permanent Cosmetics, and Makeup Applications.

David is a licensed massage therapist with over three years experience working in Louisiana and Texas. He holds licenses with both the Louisiana State Board of Massage Therapy as well as the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Additionally, David is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association. He attended Massage Therapy College of Baton Rouge, completing a rigorous 650 hour training program. David has extensive experience in both therapeutic massage and well as massage for relaxation. In addition to being trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue and Hot Stone massage techniques, David studied prenatal massage at the Ariana Institute in Austin, Texas. His philosophy on massage is that no two massages are alike. Each will vary and should be tailored to the client's individual needs and preferences.

My first job in a salon was at the age of 12. I would go with my Mom the Powder Puff Beauty Shop in Powder Springs, Georgia and help around the shop. That is where i got my first tast of the salon business. Then at the age of 16 i was a receptionist in a local salon. it was then i realized my passion and my destiny. I went to beauty school. Starting at such a young age has given me the experience and continual growth for the ever- evolving industry. I have attended many training classes, seminars and continue my education to keep current and fashion forward. I have trained with the Coppola Keratin smoothing therapy and the Keratin Express techniques. Through the true art of hair coloring and cutting, we as stylist are able to create a look that enhances ones outer beauty to ecpress their inner beauty. Helping people to look good and feel good about themselves is my goal. Many of my clients have become life long friends. Outside of work, I am a volunteer for the American cancer society woriking with cancer patients.
